TOURNAMENT BIOGRAPHY:

The relegation battle at the Fifteenth Tournament was a three-way scrap, but with a victory for Lieutenant Gareth in the penultimate game his Division One status was secure, now it was between Baron Von Hooton and Captain Maltby to contest fourth-place. In the Fourteenth Championship, Baron Von Hooton had successfully avoided relegation at the expense of Doc Shakib. The final Division One game saw Baron Von Hooton go head-to-head with Captain Maltby on Ball Jacks. For thirteen tournaments Baron Von Hooton had battled among the Mega Drive elite, staving off relegation in four championships, however he was unable to beat Captain Maltby and lost the tie 3-0, although this was not a fair reflection of performance. Ironically Baron Von Hooton faced Captain Maltby again in the Knockout final and once again he would come unstuck. His path to the final had seen him beat Lieutenant Gareth on Sonic 2 and Lord Dilks on Golden Axe 2, but after 2 minutes and fifteen seconds on Columns, against Captain Maltby, his knockout run was over.
