Having been relegated at the Fourteenth Tournament, Doc Shakib earned his place back among the tournament elite at the first time of asking. Undefeated in eight games he returns to Division One having achieved the best record in the lower league in a single tournament. Doc Shakib has been with the Mega Drive Championships since the First Tournament. For a long while he was seen as the only challenger to Lord Dilks and Mr Smith's duopoly of the tournaments and in the Seventh Tournament he shattered the tournament heirachey when he became the Mega Drive Champion. Since then there has been a huge decline in the quality of Doc Shakib's gameplay and he has twice been relegated into Divison Two. In the Knockout he has only reached the final once, where he lost to Lord Dilks on NBA Jam, the same game was beaten on by Captain Maltby in the Fifteenth Tournament Knockout Semi-Final. Doc Shakib's strongest game is Virtua Racing, upon which he is undefeated, he also has considerable talent on Golden Axe 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Streets of Rage 2.
