TOURNAMENT BIOGRAPHY:

The Fifteenth Tournament saw Mr Smith become Mega Drive Champion for the eighth time, his title confirmed with three games remaining. He is currently the most successful league member winning 107 out of 153 games. Mr Smith is one of the three men who battled in the First Tournament, which he won. He was the first member to win two consequtive tournaments - the Fifth and Sixth. Mr Smith won the Tournament Knockout at the Fourteenth Championship, however, he was unable to defend it and was eliminated in Round 2 by the eventual winner, Captain Maltby, on Eternal Champions. He did not participate in the Fifteenth Tournament's Challenge Cup and has had limited success in that competition at previous tournaments. He is ranked the best player on Sonic the Hedgheog 2 and Columns, although is a formidable opponent on the majority of tournament games.
