Happy birthday to the Mega Drive Championships!!!

Veritably dragged kicking and screaming through the past 15 years, this event has not only kept the spirit of 16bit gaming alive, but has also ensured old friends do not lose touch, whilst enabling new friendships to be formed.

The Mega Drive Championships stand on the brink of a new dawn. Nothing is guaranteed, but work is being done to ensure that there may be a few years left in the old gal yet.

In spite of the odds, our own natural stupidity and stubbornness has resulted in 16-bit competitions enduring well into the 21st Century long after most of the world has seen sense. Here's to the enduring awesomeness of the Mega Drive and to the next 15-years!!
