2-PLAYER VS:

Eternal Champions was added at the Ninth Mega Drive Championship and has always been regarded as a Division Two step-down from Super Street Fighter 2. It was first drawn at the Tenth Tournament where it was quite popular, however, the amalgamation of the league cast Eternal Champions into limbo until the two divisions returned at the Fourteenth Mega Drive Championship. Not only did Eternal Champions resume its role in Division Two and the Tournament Knockout, but it was the game chosen to be used in the Division Two section of the Challenge Trophy. Commander Graham is ranked as the best player on Eternal Champions, having won seven of his eight games. Both Lord Dilks and, former member, Dame Yada hold 100% records, however, they are untested over such a large span of games. A character limitation was enforced at the Fifteenth Tournament to prevent the repeated use of any one character - especially Xavier, who seems to be the most popular. Due to the large number of competitions it is involved in, as well as the character limitation, this game is not used in the Division Two Cup.
