2-PLAYER VS:

Micro Machines '96 replaced Micro Machines 2, as a Division Two game, at the Tenth Mega Drive Championship. It prooved to be so popular that, when the leages were amalgamated, unlike many other Division Two titles, it continued as a tournament game. This quick paced, top-down racer has been used in both leagues since the Fourteenth Tournament and is one of the favourite games in the Mega Drive Championships. The scorebar in the top-left of the screen is divided equally into four dots with players able to swing the bar in their favour by racing the screen length a head of their opponent. If a members fills all eight dots with their colour then they win the game. Lord Dilks is ranked as the best player with ten wins from twelve games. Captain Maltby is second with five wins from seven under his belt.
