2-PLAYER VS:

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was one of the three games used in the original tournament. The way this classic platform game is played and scored has evolved over the years. The First Tournament saw the members race through all the zones with all cirteria counting towards the final tally. The Special Stages were removed before the Second Tournament as they were deemed tedious. Since the Fifteenth Tournament members only play in either the Emerald Hill or Casino Night Zones with only score, time and rings counting towards the final tally. Doc Shakib is currently the best player in the tournaments, however, he is a long way from bettering former member, Mr Smith's, record of thirty-six games undefeated. Captain Maltby maintains an anomalous six game drawing streak on Sonic 2.
