It was decided in the early tournaments, although the exact time of its addition has been forgotten, that should two members be ranked equally in the final standings, on both points and with goal difference, then a game on Streets of Rage 2 will be used to determine positioning. At the Ninth Mega Drive Championship Streets of Rage 2 became a fully fledged tournament game when it was added to the Division Two game pool. It made its debut at the Tenth Tournament and following the removal of Division Two it reverted back to its status as the deciding game. Streets of Rage 2 was tested prior to the Fourteenth Mega Drive Championship, to see if it was good enough for the new Division One, however, it was decided this classic 8-direction fighter lacked the skill level sought after for the higher league and it returned it its Division Two status. Earl Holbrook is statistically the best player, as he holds a 100% record. Doc Shakib and Professor King also have 100%'s but with fewer games played.
